Q - Do you work outside of Yorkshire?

Yep, we do travel. We do have to charge travel costs as a small business, but we will agree all of this upfront with a small degree of estimation for Train Journeys where these are the best/cheapest way to travel.

Q - Do you only work with Schools and education sector? 

No, we work with all kinds of businesses - Helping SME's is part of our passion.

Q - Do I need Health and Safety for my business it's only office work? 

Yes, every business regardless of size or function has to ensure the safety of its own people and customers. If you have 5 or more employees, you do have to have written evidence of your Health and Safety management. 

​

Q - What is the difference between and audit and an inspection?

Audits - these are a check on how health and safety works, less focused on compliance and more on function. This is a proactive way to get health and safety running properly so compliance becomes part of everyday. These usually take 3-4 days or at least 2 days per site if you have a multi-site operation for example Academy Trusts with a number of schools. A full report will document your health and safety management check-up and what improvements can be made.

Inspections - these are compliance check-ups and can be done in 1-2 days, they usually start by you providing all the compliance information you have then a site visit to check on this. 

​

Risk assessments and any policy or other health and safety document work can be completed in my own format and then provided electronically or if you provide me your company format and style information it can be bespoke - this is no extra cost.
