My name is Kate and Safetying is my company.​​​

 

After many years working in various industries as a safety practitioner I decided to create Safetying because I wanted to offer a different approach to health and safety.

 

There is a key difference between just ticking the compliance boxes and having actual good safe working practice. I love developing good organisational culture through simple and effective safe working and practice. Safetying is about Heltah and safety that really works, that is cost effective and has a positive lasting effect on you and your business.

You will probably notice I am a very informal person and don't mistake that for lack of professionalism, I am good enough to not have to take myself so seriously! 20 years of doing health and safety in a new and better way. I have helped so many people change their mind and make better decisions - making safer healthier Schools, Colleges, Universities, Theatre spaces, Studios, all number of workplaces and Events.

BA(hons) - This means I went to University and am a qualified theatre tech and lighting designer 

Nebosh Diploma - This is the highest level of qualification in Health & Safety

Nebosh Fire - This means I understand how fire starts and spreads

Cert Iosh - This shows my higher level of competence in Health & Safety
