My name is Kate and Safetying is my company.​​​

 

After many years working in various industries as a safety practitioner I decided to create Safetying because I wanted to offer a different approach to health and safety.

 

There is a key difference between ticking the compliance boxes and having actual good safe working practice and that is sensible health and safety that works in practice and is cost effective.

 

I started this company because I want to make health and safety work, I want it to do what it was created to do. Health and Safety should keep people safe. Safetying is about Health and safety that really works, that is cost effective and has a positive lasting effect on you and your business.

In case you're interested these are my credentials! ​

BA(hons) - This one is because I went to University and am a qualified theatre tech and lighting designer.

Nebosh Diploma - This is the highest level of qualification in Health & Safety.

Nebosh Fire - This means I understand how fire starts and spreads, more importantly I know how to help you prevent it.

Cert Iosh - This  one shows my higher level of competence in Health & Safety and my commitment to staying at that level.
